Tento obraz maluji přímo na podmalbu umbrou pálenou. Tento postup je pro mě trochu experiment, neboť pracuji téměř pouze na osvětlených částech obrazu. V oblastech stínu nechávám prosvítat podmalbu, kterou pouze dle potřeby upravuji slabou lazurní vrstvou. (I paint directly over the underpainting of burnt umber. This procedure is a little experiment for me because I work almost solely on the light areas of the image. In areas of shade I let the underpainting to show through, and only according to the needs using transparent glazing).
